Member Spotlight: Rosemary Logan

Rosemary Logan is senior vice president of administration for APG Federal Credit Union in Aberdeen, Maryland. With an MS in systems management from the University of Southern California, her areas of responsibility include HR/training and development, member education, compliance, and facilities/purchasing. She has 19 years of credit union HR experience, including eight years as an elected member of the HR Council Executive Committee.

“I married a cadet from West Point and we moved 15 times in the first 16 years we were married,” says Rosemary. “We moved two daughters, a dog and a variety of cats from one army post to the next.”

After eventually settling down in Bel Air, she joined the APG Federal Credit Union as an employee of the county government. One day she was contacted by a recruiter to fill a training position for the credit union.

“I loved the philosophy and mission of the credit union, so I took the position,” says Rosemary. “Nine months later I was promoted to the position of HR manager and eventually to SVP of administration. It’s wonderful working for a credit union. I always feel that I have a hand in helping our employees and our members improve their lives.”
